Abstract

Summary: In this issue of Cancer Discovery, Pennycuick and colleagues comprehensively evaluate the immune contexture of progressive and regressive lesions in squamous pulmonary premalignancy. The authors dissect the molecular features of these lesions and the potential pathways of immune escape operative in progression to invasive cancer.
